But for those unfortunate few whose earballs still have not witnessed the weird wonders of his body of work, let me break it down for you, son: Goji is the closest thing we’ve got to an Internet-era Syd Barrett. Goji’s music carries with it the optimism of the early Internet age, when technology seemed to be the cure for everything and the future still looked peachy. His tunes, horsey or otherwise, consistently convey a sense of nostalgia and hectic fun you can't find anywhere else (and I have looked in all the other places). Sometimes delirious, always joyous, crazygoji will be your new favorite musician from now until forever. I have decided this for you, no need to thank me.

crazygoji’s horsey tunes is, without a doubt, the most highly acclaimed album in this entire sentence. This album changed my life and, more importantly, my wife. this album was made from april 7th to may 1st, and was written entirely in Ableton with the Genny VST with light flourishes of other synths (save for bar․io, which was written with Ableton's wavetable synth and an old 32-bit Roland Jupiter 6 emulation VST). the drum machines used were the dry session kit, gen purpose kit, Roland TR 808 and 909 kits default in Ableton, and Genny default percussion patches. this is the most I've used squarewaves before. currently trying to study norio hanzawa a little deeper. much thanks go out to my family and friends
